Instead of working on the layout, on Friday evening, we actually ran some trains Alco RS1 and road slug wait to leave Andersley yard onto the main with a local. The train has cars for the lumber mill, cement plant and food distribution warehouse. The track at left is the caboose/MOW track, and the empty space will house some MOW equipment and clutter. On the main, heading downgrade. SP SD35 with some empty hoppers for the quarry branch. The local waits on the eastbound main for a train to clear the single track section. The quarry turn has arrived in the siding, and will run around the hoppers and push them into the quarry branch when the tracks are clear. A UP unit grain train comes off the single track section and passes between the waiting locals onto the westbound main. The local exits a tunnel and begins the three percent climb to summit, and the lumber mill yards.
Looking good Alan, I really want those stone walls of yours hehehehe, my hobby shop does not stock it. I will have to keep an eye for some
Alan, Looking GREAT! I love those 3 UP units lashed up together. You had mentioned before that if I emailed you some pictures you could post them here for me. Is that offer still available? If so I need your email address. Scot squint@uwbmt.org
