Hi all, this is some pics I took of my newly finished K-27 #460.
Excellent weathering. Subtle enough to prove she has been in service, yet far from the overdone we see too often.
Three words: You. Nailed. It.
Looks simply 'Grande!
Not to hijack your thread, I feel the comparison is worthwhile, as it looks stunning. Here's her operating sister, the 463 in Antonito in 2017:
Excellent work, looks very real.
Ditto with Jim, above..
The one thing I can see that's wrong with Graff's version is the missing visor over the headlight and backup light !!!!! Hey Graff, get your act together !!
Honestly, I think it's well-done myself. Takes an awful lot of time, talent and patience to come up with a great model of a prototype steam locomotive, much less a slim-gauge engine, and I am impressed. Nicely done, sir, nicely done!
And when compared to a pic of the real thing, it looks even better. BTW, photo by Gerald. M. Best, from the Friends of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic RR site.
He has his act together, and it is an incredible one.
bremmer, I hope you realize I was joking !!
