With the end of Kodachrome in 2009/2010, I made the move to Fujichrome which was a poor substitute to my eyes, lacking the color range, intensity and clarity I'd enjoyed with Kodachrome for more than four decades. This was shot on Fujichrome, one of the few rail pictures I shot in 2010. I shot nothing in 2011 until buying my first DSLR late that year. That now aged DSLR remains my primary camera today. From 31 years ago in March 1994 at Columbia, SC is B23-7 4010 at the new Amtrak station on new track, placed to reduce downtown rail crossings. CSX is at left.
I was wondering what was up with that when I looked at my slide. Interesting. I don't think I saw a yellow plow before or after this shot.
