I'm looking for a book, magazine, or website that has plans or drawings for steam tenders on the smaller Southern Pacific locomotives (most specifically the whaleback tenders but as long as I'm asking I might as well ask for them all). I thought that there was a rather comprehensive magazine article that covered all of SP's smaller tenders published years ago but I sure can't find it now. I know that there is some great information in Church's Cab Forward and 4300 (Mt class) books, but they cover the larger tenders that would have been pulled behind those engines. The SPHTS has the book 'Common Standard Tender Diagrams 1950' (which would be perfect) but it is currently out of stock. I'm looking for the tenders that the 4-6-2's and 2-8-0's (and smaller) would have pulled. I have a copy of the article that was in Prototype Modeler OCT 81 on SP's whaleback tenders, but it doesn't have any plans or drawings. Any help would be appreciated...

Bachmann used to make a SP Vandy in N Scale, they put them behind the 2-8-2 and a Union Pacific painted 4-8-4

I have one somewhere and would like to find it to put behind my 2-8-0

The Model Power Vandy is a lot closer to what was behind the 2-8-0's.
