Another tongue in cheek question: :closedmouth: I have read numerous times on many n scale forums about manual uncoupling (using a pick) not being 'prototypical'. The complaint is that "Here comes a big ole telephone pole sized skewer outta the sky to uncouple cars." YET... Those same complaining modelers will have a BIG ole hand come outta the sky and hold the first or last car in a string of cars so they can back a locomotive into a coupler hard enough to have it latch...without the string of cars moving away ? AND... That's 'prototypical' how ? Inquiring minds wanna know.
