    Today while passing the trainshop, I dropped in and thought I would ask about Signals and cost.

    His first one hit the counter at $35each (considering i would like about 10)!!! I nearly soiled my pants on the spot. I asked is that Aussie dollars?

    He seemed quite suprised at the cost himself.

    Is this price seem normal to other aussies? Looks like my layout will be signalless.. :(

    Operating signals? That may be about right. Some detail companies make non-operating signals for 10-15 dollars. US$.

    Thanks Flash..
    I live on the wrong planet most of the time, thinking things will only be $5.00 cause thats what they are WORTH, not what they cost !!

    Paul, have more talent in your little toe than in my 120kg body ;)

    Any instructions anywhere on how to?
    Thanks anyway.

    Went to my regular shop today, $15! Got a few to play with.

    Yea we was thinkin the same ;) The detail in the closeups is excellent.

    Been onto the company by email

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We are the manufacturer and deal mostly with major distributors, Walthers etc..
    What dealer in Austrailia may carry them ???
    If you like you can order directly from us by credit card, we ship world wide.
    Air Mail to you should be no more than $12 US.
    Sorry we do not sell Circuitron products. They now make a Semaphore activation system using the Tortise, check their cataloge or Walthers web catalogue.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    have a look at
    http://www.nscalesupply.com/Nji/NJI.html
    you will see the motors for them, and some detailed photos..

    The price is a bit of a worry I think, but 2-3 maybe ok, you in for some Paul? And I was worrying about $30 before [IMG]

    CDA Electronics have just released a range of 2 aspect and 3 aspect signals in N Scale here in Australia. Should be between AUS$20-25 depending on the hood types. If you local hobby shop carries CDA's range of transformers and controllers, they should be able to get these. They should be in the shops by now....

    Would be nice to have some operating lower quadrants. My train crew is confused here when both directions are showing "GO"

    Jason,

    CDA are working on a website, but it's not available yet. You can email CDA at jj.cda@hypermax.net.au and they should be able to email you their advertisement from the latest AMRM.

    Oh, the signals listed on the Lloyds website are all HO products.
