Anyone using one of these???? I like the fact it's easy to hook up looking for a cheap and easy way to go. http://home.houston.rr.com/lrt/index.htm
UP Mike: I use Logic Rails Searchlight signal boards with my Sunrise Bi-polar leds. Stay cool and run steam...
Perhaps someone would be interested in a block detection system. http://www.block-detection.scale-train.com/ Core of the detecton is under track IR switch with tumble down operation. Each controller board can operate 2 signals for either end of the block. Completely plug and play. Works with Common anode signals. Such as SMD Products http://www.signals.n.scale-train.com/
I do have one Signal Animator from Logic Rail ( http://www.logicrailtech.com ) on my layout and it works great! I have it set up with a searchlight signal from Sunrise Enterprises which has a tri-colored LED (the same LED produces green, yellow and red). I never got any more Signal Animators because I'm really not to that point on my layout and I can't decide if I want to do just those or go with a full-blown detection system. The Signal Animator is very simple and does give a very convincing effect, so it is a good option if you don't want to get into the expense of and troube of setting up a system that works more like the prototype. BTW, Alain's stuff looks great too! Russ
