I got this little B-man U.P. 2-4-2 Baldwin for X-mas and it looks great it needs a little work. The driving gear is cracked so it needs replacing I have to contact B-mann and see if they still honor the life time warranty if not I have to send it back to the original owner and he can take care of it and also the rear small trailing wheel on the loco the bar that holds the wheel is also broken another thing that needs replacing otherwise the loco looks great and the motor runs great no issues with the motor. I have to remove the front coupler also its just plain ugly. It also has the smoke feature. What did you guys get for X-mas.

    Nothing really special.
Got 5 paks of KD 831 couplers, so I
    can finish converting my collection.
Just need couplers to convert the narrow gauge
part of my collection. Three Bachmann freight cars, and
    Bachmann/Delton passenger cars.
And, if ANYONE knows, I also need the proper KD coupler
for the front and rear of the Bachmann K-27.

I got an MDC kit caboose in the Rio Grande scheme I have to change the trucks on this cause it didn't come with couplers any suggestions these are I believe arch bar trucks, and a 20' gondola also Rio Grande and another caboose this one is a bobber caboose also Rio Grande. Now I'm hunting for a steam Rio Grande loco maybe a 2-6-0 Mogul or a 2-8-0 Baldwin I have to do a little research to see what brand is the best.

Never did get the last set of G Scale couplers I got!
So, I'm gonna have to think about running out and getting
another 5 pack, so I can finish converting current car fleet.
Then maybe start working on the narrow gauge stuff.
Holidays this year have NOT been good.

    Keith:

The K-27 can use a Kadee 830 in the tender coupler box (drop in in the stock box), but the front coupler is mounted higher, and you'll have to cut off the coupler pin if you want a Kadee there. I'm still using the stock Bachmann couplers on mine because they're a close enough height to work, and they interface pretty well with my Accucraft-couplered stock.

I've converted the rest of my equipment to KD.
The only equipment not converted is the B-mann NG stuff.
And all of the stock couplers are too low, when set up against a KD equipped car.
Guess I'll have to make a run to one of the 2 NSLHS in the Denver area, for couplers.

Any idea what coupler will fit the front of the K? Don't mind removing pin as necessary.
    Thanks.
