Surely everybody has 1 or 2 they think is a piece of junk or ugly as heck My trainman green flatcar with a tarped load....looks to fake to me Bachmann tanker....just looks cheap. I painted the lids black, still looks cheap
Doesn't look like you weather---but a coat of dullcoat and maybe some chalks would go a long way if your unhappy.
No weather for me, I just like to run'em around the little layout. I was just showing the ones I think looks phony in my opinion. All of the rest of mine look real an right.

That B&O - CSX combo cracked me up. I saw a bunch of thoses Shells cheap a while back. Didn't get a one.
From the picture, it looks like they have hit about 100 deer with it. Kinda looks like dryed blood...........hehe
I don't have any pictures, thankfully, but I agree with The Toolman, that any of those old 3 dome tank cars by various manufacturers are so ugly, they deserve an accidental trip to the floor (... whoops). I used to have one that was hideously painted in a bright silver paint scheme, and I gave it away to someone else a while ago. Glad I don't have it, but I can still see it before my eyes in my darkest dreams! :tb-nerd:
I'm afraid I kind of uglified these a little on my own. Supposed to be weathered but looks just messed up.
PObvioiusly a collector car as no decent runner would have giraffes in a gondola. A doubloe stack maybe but a gondola, no. Are giraffes yellow with brown spots or brown with yellow stripes?
Mike - My ♥ sweetie ♥ thinks the giraffes are "cute". Don't you - ever - sell her one. Er, um, well, ok, if she insists.
Not sure why the nose rusted so badly. As you can see from the prototype photo, the rest of the body is not that bad.
MT has great detail on their rail road cars, this car is questionable and their giraffes leave a lot to desire!!!!
