You got a deal, I saw that same car in a "antique" store today for 8 bucks! No joke!
It's condition looks to be well worth the buy.
I got a couple of Jeeps. Collecting and restoring classic cars is another hobby I have and I worked out a great deal on a Jeep, full size which I bought from an estate in Maine.
I work in operations for a trucking company so I managed to get one of out trucks to pick it up and bring it here to Montana. Just after working out the deal on the full size Jeep, I purchased an 1/87 Jeep. I have an obsession about collecting HO scale vehicles for the transition era and whenever I find one I don't have, I gotta get it.
Long time since I last saw those center meeting windshield wipers. Are they electric or vacuum?
I loved vacuum wipers!!!!!
Yes, it has vacuum wipers, and it has vacuum tubes in the radio and the radio actually works. Only has 32,000 original miles on it.
Just got two new Athearn GP38-2's in my favorite schemes!
Of course one of them is the DT&I Bi-Centennial version!

Nice! Was that an actual paint scheme? JMS
Yes. Only two or three locomotives were painted that way....this is a FOOOBY.
Early attempt at Grade-Crossing Safety? JMS
A video instead of a photo.
Bachman SD40-2 just arrived today. Fits my budget. Almost.
Rolling stock is all 20+ years old. The locomotive is my first DCC engine and I'm learning about it as I go. Track is incomplete because I ran out of track, but couldn't wait to run the train.
