Hello all, I have recently purchased an Atlas Dash 8 loco off of Ebay. I put this thing on the track and it shorts. Is there anything common that I should be looking for to resolve this?
Just the oppositie and I figured this out. I bought an analog verison and tried using my digitrax chief to power this thing. Out of frustruration, I disconnected my digitrax and connected my old Troller DC power supply. now it works like a champ. I will wait until I install a decoder in this thing before I put this loco back on the track with DCC.
