Now that Shapeways is gone, where do you all find your 3D printed parts? I’m looking for Alco C 636 truck side frames. There was a guy on Shapeways that had them. Angelo would be appreciated, Thank You. EveryWhereWest Models
I have been having the same problems with Baldwin diesel shells. Been trying to contact people that sold them to see if they are going to have them done by someone else...But no answers as of yet...
They have re-started in the Netherlands, but at a reduced size. Anyone heard what they might be planning to produce?
I haven't ordered anything from this outfit yet, but Tom Knapp has moved many of his designs over to 3dptrain. They are a service specializing in the model railroad market. Maybe encourage other designers to see if they can move their designs to this new market space. The site is:https://3dptrain.com/ This email was posted on the AZL forum from the new shapeways company about the old marketplace: :https://azlforum.com/thread/2883/shapeways-again-alive "Thank you for reaching out to Manuevo! We have acquired the assets of Shapeways BV, the Dutch entity, which includes the factory. However, we have not yet acquired the assets of Shapeways Inc., which includes the Marketplace. At this point, we do not have access to the Shapeways Marketplace or its associated shops. While reopening your webshop on the Shapeways Marketplace is not possible at the moment, we will explore options on setting this up in the future, right now our priority is to get the basic systems back online again such as our internal systems and getting a solid self service portal created where you can upload, store and order models, which will be a requirement for marketplaces in the future. In the meantime, we’d be happy to explore other ways to collaborate. You’re welcome to upload your models using our new instant quoting tool or contact our sales team at sales@manuevo.com for a manual quote. Please let us know how we can assist you further! Cheers, Harry" -Matt
