Just made another big update to my Foothill Rails site with many new pics. During the thread about my last update I promised to have the new SERA #133 River Train painted loco for the next. Well, here she is:

[IMG] Look at that shine. Did they clear coat it? I hope it stays that beautiful!

That's really attractive, not so busy like the modern graphics trend seems to be. How many locos and cars are involved? Thanks for showing it to us.

Now that is a striking paint scheme [IMG] Looks like a passenger car to match coupled to the loco?

Took a tour arond your website John. You have some very interesting information and pictures on some (to me) obscure railroads. [IMG]

Before I even saw her, I was warned I probably would not like the new paint. Not so! I think it is wonderful! I'm really liking this new trend to do something different on locos.

I believe there are about a half dozen or so passenger cars painted up as well. Looks very cool to see em all coupled up. Neat little train to try and model. This is the ex Yolo Shortline train that runs from Woodland to Sacramento. It was at one time pulled by the ex SP #1233. Unfortunately the 1233 is still under repairs.

Alan, thanks for the comments. My attempt was to do some very local to me stuff. Also, I wanted to shed some light on an area and some operations that weren't already well covered on the net. There are several books, magazine articles and videos but I wanted to try and get them all together in one spot and also show what is left to go find. So far, I've been getting an excellent response. It has definately been alot of fun. Much more interesting than my SP and UP photo roster sites.

To all, keep an eye out for further additions. I've already started to piece together another railroad to add. ;)
