sd7 not running

    I have a life like sd7 that is not running and was wondering where i could get it fixed? Do any of you know where to send it.

    Send it to Lifelike! I have sent a couple of locos in for repair, both times it cost $5.
    There's an address on the diagram sheet, and/or you can email their service dept.
    I have had good luck with this.

    That is a good suggestion. You get a new engine out of it and you are on your way.

    If you do want to see what is wrong, Col Andre Kritzinger (South Africa) has an extensive website on the LL SD7. He (and I) think they are great engines with some electrical modification. Also, there is a design flaw in the trucks. More info here:

    I've heard good things about LL customer service although never had to use it.

    Thanks for the great link Flash.

    Count me in as a big fan of the LL SD7. I only have two that were purchased second hand and one of them because the owner said "This one does not run well at all".
    I didn't so much as clean the wheels on it and it runs flawlessly and in turn has become one of my favorite locos.
