    Saw this yesterday in Cartersville GA. Found it to be a somewhat interesting looking unit. Maybe sort of what a snoot SD45 would have looked like. :D

    Are these units still powered with their original 16-645 EMD prime mover, or did they receive something completely brand new and different ?

    If you can trust Wikipedia, they were treated by Wabtec the same as the CP SD30C-ECO, which received a 12-710G3 prime mover. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EMD_SD30C-ECO
