I cleaned out my years old collection of stuff last November and threw away a bunch. Some of it made me wonder why it was saved in the first place. Guess I got the packrat gene from my dad but I'm not anywhere near as bad as he is. We had a chance to buy mom and dad's house in 1995 for a great price but decided not to because of all the stuff he had collected in the back lot behind his workshop. There was 5 junk cars and stacks of metal and wood construction materials he used for various projects. One project was converting a Houston city buss into a RV so there was a pile of seats and other junk he stripped out. The back lot was a mess. When they sold their house and acreage a couple years later the new owner hauled out multiple trailer loads of stuff and it took about two weeks to clean up.

We're in process of working through the overburden of stuff in my late mother's house in preparation for an estate sale. Several days ago I heard a giant crash from the room where her multitude of dish sets are set out on tables. My wife had been working on things and a table collapsed from too much weight, causing a several dozen dishes to meet their doom. My wife and I both agreed that it didn't matter. I then offered to set up a skeet shooting range off the back deck using dishes as clay pigeons. (y) We could shoot all day and still have dishes left over .......

The magazines may find a good home. I would suggest donating them to a charity store like AARP.

I recently inherited a large collection of old Magazines and I am like a hog in heaven. I love the old ads more than anything. It's cool to see what was on the market BITD.

I'd love to, but can't find anyone interested. My grandson raids the Gazettes but don't really care about the others..

Not thinning any of that. What are you looking for? I've thought about making castings of some of the cars I would want alot of.

I must have a LOT of pent up emotion, then.
