Rome91, Thanks for posting this, it is quite timely as I have been mulling over converting a B'man EM-1 into a cabforward. Not an SP version but one for my Home Road's spec's, that would leave me a lot of leeway to let my mind go to work. i started with a life-like proto 2000 2-8-8-2 Y3 locomotive, and i added a Bachmann trailing truck to make it a 4-8-8-2. the cab is scratchbuilt from brass and styrene (the roof and front of the cab are made from an old british Peco wagon roof) the rest of the details are either detail associates or scratchbuilt.
