My first G scale turntable was scratch built and or converted from an O scale turntable to G scale. I have been using this turntable for the past 5 or more years. Over the past few years I have had many requests to do a how to article on turntables. So when it came time to build my last turntable on my G scale layout ( The DAV&P ) I broke out the camera and took step by step pictures. It should be noted that this time I used and HO scale turntable and converted it to G scale this time. Instead of using a O scale turn table. I did have a few more problems with the HO scale turntable then when I used the O scale turntable, but both methods are vary close to each other. I only had 3 problems with the HO scale turntable. As we go threw the step by step construction you will see how to install and convert other scale turntables to your scale!
