looky what i scored today (few hrs ago) ender 3 with the meanwell power supply and five partial rolls of hatchbox filament all for $215 bucks . i could not pass this up. like brand new. extra nozzles and all the tools plus a very small level about 4 inches long . man oh man. I may turn this into a graving machine or a lazer cutter thingyboberdo??? im a happy camper
By my watch it's been over 24 hours and so far I haven't seen anything from your new toy. Where's your Ender's first print!? -Mike
That's just Eevviill... Now what freaking movie is that from? Ducks as people tell him! Brain fart, sorry. @sidney Nice score for sure, have fun!
hahaha spent 24 hrs getting it setup so i can print. the guy that had it , had it really out of shape but i did get it printing and the first prints was a fang an related parts. took a bit to get it printing fair. i need to order some better parts for sure. the part thats in the printer now is 8 hrs so far its a small miter box i need for trim work..
Awesome - and the layer lines are looking pretty good, too, so it looks like you're off to a great start! -Mike
Thanks Mike it still need some tweaking to get it where i want it. But i cant do that until i get a new main board and get my extra pi4 wired in . also need to get two screws for the Z axis plus the motor to drive those. Been thinking that on this one i might try ball screws on the z axis for precise control of z axis on both sides. but there a bit expensive. i have dual screws on my main printer and that improved it a lot. But there is some play in those. once i get it tweaked it should print very well as i only use one filament and that's hatchbox . i cant play with temps ect till i get the new main board (every board is different ) OH i need to add a light too...
started printing the PI4 box for the ender. it goes under the screen so far pretty good. i do not like the red hatch box filament . ive aways had problems with the color filament not printing well. The grey prints much better. i know its a temp setting i just dont like changing temps all the time or settings for that matter. this is printed no supports so its pretty good so far
