I am looking for photos of Seaboard COAST Line WIDE VISION type cabooses, in ORANGE w/ SCL lettering, for a modeling project. Any direction to a photo would be appreciated. TX' AF
Atlantic Flier - Believe that the cars you seek are the old SAL 5700's. These are the only wide vision cars that the SCL had on formation. Think they had a "0" added initially; i.e. 5700 became 05700 on the SCL. I know that at least some of them wore the SCL orange - suggest you try "Fallen Flags" on the internet and see if they have any photos.

On http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/scl/scl.html there are photos of only two 05700-series cabooses: 05747 in Family Lines gray, and a black-and-white shot of http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/scl/scl05740ags.jpg Now, with the model as reference, I can see that this is the orange scheme.
Well for the first time I went on the SCL site at "Fallen Flags". To me, SCL was less than the sum of the two parts combined.
