Dug out a couple of photos. snapped from the Soo "Tour Train" which runs around the roads in the area, including over the International bridge. Great views of the locks from up there As the ride was very bumpy, the pics are a bit blurred, but the only Soo and Milw. equipment I have seen. ------------------ Alan Curtis. Moderator. Thanks for these pictures Alan. This is another international crossing point for NARA. North American Railroad Alliance. This is another interchange point between Catt's GVR and my M.A.T. All in the mind you say. ------------------ Robin member #35 NARA member #2 Maberly and Tayside
It heartens the soul to see soo much Soo in one place. Thanks, Alan. Gary. ------------------ Gary A. Rose The Unofficial TC&W page TrainBoard Moderator and Member No.377 N to the Nth degree!
Gary, as we went over the bridge, which is very high, we could see a whole lot of SOO boxcars and Cabooses. I wish now that I had returned to the area and taken a lot more pics! From the bridge, we could also see HUGE piles of pulpwood. The GP9 was busy switching. The SD40's were parked. ------------------ Alan Curtis. Moderator.
