I know it's not DCC, but the forum says DCC and Electronics! I have a SAT-7 that just died on me. I parked my train a week ago, no problem. Went on a trip, came back and now nada! I turn on the AC power and before I even turn on the SAT-7, I get a screech, as in: it's a short! I then disconnected it and connected another brand of throttle to the transformer - no problem! So the transformer is obviously not the issue. What could have gone wrong to light up the "short circuit screech" before I even turn on the power of the unit??
