    Shot with Tri-X, early eighties...a F45 is on the point approaching Beallville (Tehachapi) on this eastbound hotshot TOFC.

    That would be a scarey ride! Look at that engine lean lout on the curve, and the track looks like there is no super elevation either!
    Maybe he is a run away down grade? WOW!

    The photo is probably tilted a little giving the illusion of leaning out. Your natural inclination in framing a shot is to line up with something that you perceive as vertical or horizontal. In this case with the rolling hills in the background there is no real good horizon so the telegraph pole and fence posts might have been used. If they are not true vertical, then it makes the tracks look tilted away from the turn.
