Not sure if this is funny or just plain sad. I just went to Walmart and bought this bottle of Gorilla Super Glue. I am aware they put less product in packaging these days. But it is usually hidden. A clear bottle showing less product ? Seriously ?:censored::censored:

Definitely sad, but sometimes you have to laugh, if for nothing else than maintaining your sanity.

Was every bottle like that? Maybe it was a "return" or perhaps leakage or error in filling at the factory?

I find it hard to believe they would leave that much air in there, especially when it comes to Super Glue. That much air will eventually kick off the super glue (due to moisture in that air) and cause it to go bad.

It's a 6 mile drive to Walmart. not worththe hassle. BUT...the next time I am there I am going to check the rest of the stock and see if they are all that empty. If so then Gorilla Blue is going to get a nasty gram !:censored::mad:

Question - I've never used Gorilla Glue before (I've used other Gorilla products though, I'm a fan of their tape). Is there anything special about it, or is it just another brand of CA?

I use Zap brand CA currently.

sad for sure i couldn't figure out why i keep running out but if you look by the gorilla emblem in very small print it says fill line 15g it took me 3 bottles poured into 1 to fill so i wouldn't run out LOL

mtntrainman said it was super glue so just a different brand of CA. If it was plain "Gorilla Glue" then it's polyurethane glue and a whole different animal.

Zap is good CA. I use it for all my R/C airplanes.

    3 bottles ? o_O At $7.00 a bottle that's $21.00 for a small bottle of super glue !!!

Squinting...I did finally see the 'fill line'.:sneaky: That's still crazy. Being one of millions of people who buy 'Gorilla Super Glue' it is very deceiving when you see the bottle on the shelf...you presume it's actually a 'full' bottle.

Just regular super glue. Maybe it's just me but it seems to set quicker. JMO.

    Just a final note:

For those who are wondering...this is the bottle with the 'fill line' in very small nondescript print.

    upload_2025-3-6_21-3-10.jpeg

    P.S.
I suppose I should feel grateful. Mine is actually filled to between 'Fill' and 'Line'.. So in theory...I got more then I paid for....:LOL::LOL::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:(y)(y)

Seems like they had a bunch of (too big) empty bottles around and didn't want to make/order the correct sized ones. Another SKU of inventory.

I suppose that is possible. Just run em through a printer to put the new "Fill Line" blurb on em and that will work !o_O:censored::coffee:

Some settling of contents may have occurred during marketing.

I think you’re onto something, MK. I wonder if GG meant to order 6000 bottles 2” tall but jumbled it and ordered 2000 bottles 6” tall, kind of like Stan and Ollie in “The March of the Wooden Soldiers.”

Since GG markets several types of adhesives it's easier, therefore cheaper(not much probably but hey) to change the print on a label than to order different sized containers and set up a machine to use that size. Someone at GG was thinking outside the box. Bravo.

That is still a LOT of super glue. I actually would prefer the larger (half empty) bottle for ease of use.

But wouldn't take use more material for packaging and shipping. Takes up more volume for the shipper and thus could be more expensive offsetting any potential savings?
