This is unbelievable but true! Today I visited the refurbished Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks. What a beautifully restored building - the lobby alone is worth a trip to Three Forks! The general manager told me that still in the basement is the original heating and power plant the Milw. installed in the building. That plant is a converted coal fired steam locomotive boiler taken from a locomotive off the Milw. Road! The Milwaukee was America's Resourceful Railroad in 1915! More on the hotel later BUT I commend you to the hotel's website at sacajaweahotel.com. You can also find it on faceboolk. The food, by the way, is absolutely superb! If you show the staff that you are a true Milw. fan, you may even be able to see the old power plant for yourself!

We hope to get to Three Forks soon, as we need to visit some friends there... Haven't explored the town in quite a while.
