This is unbelievable but true! Today I visited the refurbished Sacajawea Hotel in Three Forks. What a beautifully restored building - the lobby alone is worth a trip to Three Forks! The general manager told me that still in the basement is the original heating and power plant the Milw. installed in the building. That plant is a converted coal fired steam locomotive boiler taken from a locomotive off the Milw. Road! The Milwaukee was America's Resourceful Railroad in 1915! If you show the staff that you are a true Milw. fan, you may even be able to see the old power plant for yourself!
