Can someone advise whether it is possible to run a S-scale American Flyer Sam the Semaphore Man on an O layout? If it is possible, what would the correct wiring configuration be? I have two twin transformers including a more "modern" TAC 2001 with a total output of 150 VA and a 1949, American Flyer Model 12 B, 250 watt (grey body, red/black controls) unit that could use a facelift, but works fine. I also have an assortment of the small 20 VA max output transformers that come with Lionel starter kits available.

I'd also like to even out the power distribution around a temporary (on the dining room table) layout that is 10 feet x 4 feet that I've erected for my daughter's upcoming engagement party in which I'm attempting to support the wedding theme of "Celebration in the White City" (Chicago's 1893 World's Fair) I've deployed three O-guage Lionel trains ranging from a 1978 Southern Pacific Daylight pulled by a F-3AA Dual Motor diesel (the pride of my collection) plus two combinations of yard engines and cars I've collected over the years. Is it ok to simply run multiple wires directly out of the transformer to multiple locations around the track layout? The wires would need to be taped to the bottom of the dining room table and then brought up "inobtrusively" over the outside edge and clipped to the track.

    Thank you!
