    David, I reprogramed all of the offenders with no luck. Like I said TSC said it is a problem with my layout. And on we go. Bob.

    Tell them to prove it! The only way it could be is if you had a problem, with a floating ground. And if you had that, then all of your locomotives would have that same problem.

    I will have to say that they are starting to slide into mediocre customer service with remarks like that. Now I know my switch to Zimo was the right call.

    I tested my theory today. I lifted the same FVM loco off the track while it was running. I then rerailed it. It wouldnt respond to the throttle. I shorted the track with my watchband. The loco stopped. When the command station reset the loco responded to the throtlle once again. An easier and cheaper fix then swapping in new decoders I think. JMO YMMV.
