    Howdy all,

I recently got a Milwaukee Road SD-7 in N scale. Came with the Lenz LE06XF decoder.

On the box , the label states that the decoder supports rule 17 dimming. Just how do I go about programming the decoder for that?

Which CV's is it, and what values do I need to use?

Also what is the CV and value to get a Lenz decoder back to factory defaults?

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

    Adios Wyatt

    Hi Wyatt,

Just did a quick check on http://www.lenz.com/manuals/ and can't find any decoder named LE06XL. There is a decoder called LE062XL, could it be bad spelling?

To get Rule 17 on LE062, set bit0=1 in CV51
About factory default, I can't find anything for that decoder.

    Leif.

CV 51 = 15 (decimal) which sets the following parameters:

    F0 turns headlight
    F1 turns rear light
    F4 dims both.

    15 = 0000 1111 in binary

There is also a Lenz 063 decoder.

As was said above, set CV 51 to 15

To set the decoder to factory default values, set CV 8 =99

    Have fun Wyatt... ;)
