Has anyone been able to get on the site? It has been experiencing outages for a few days now. I got it to work for a few hours two or three days ago, but it has been down solidly for a few days now. There are rumors in my railfan group that the owner of the site may have died, and is not unable to restore the site from its current outage. Can anyone confirm or deny these rumors? What will it take to restore the site to operating condition? I would hate to lose this site, as it's probably the single most valuable piece of railfan data online. The fallout could be worse than Jerry Laboda's Passenger Car Photo Index, I would hate for the internet to lose so many valuable photos. Luckily the Passenger Car index was archived, so if the need arises, hopefully this can be done with RRPictureArchives too.
I was there repeatedly doing research a couple o0f days ago. Slow but OK other than that. I chalked it up to our terrible internet here
