I assume that the SLSF RR is not presently
a up and running company. If it is, I'd like to have their corporate address. What I'm
trying to find out is who currently owns right of way easements bought by the railroads...say, back in 1907 in Oklahoma.
E-mails direct to myself are encouraged.

I have answered Jim by e-mail but posts here or further e-mails to him would be appreciated. He is looking for, "the ownership of a particular section in Caddo County, Oklahoma and have this mystery over what happened to the St. Louis & San Francisco RR property in that section."

Does the SLSF survive as a paper corporation? The Missouri Pacific does, when Conrail was split up between CSX & NS they brought back the Pennsy & New York Central reporting marks. I would have to say if the BNSF needed to they could use the SLSF name. I don't think they could use the emblem account I think it has been transferred to the Frisco Museum. Interesting question!
