I've had a great little Rollby speedometer board installed in a boxcar for a year or so. It comes as a kit from Boulder Creek Engineering and transmits speed and distance information wirelessly to an Apple or Android device. Mine quit working about a month ago, so I called Jim Frenz at Boulder Creek Engineering. We discovered that evidently coinsiding with Google's latest Android push to Version 10, the Android version of the Roll-by software no longer works. The Apple version still works with the latest version of the iPhone software, but it may be a few weeks before a Roll-by patch gets released.
Following up on the RollBy speedometer, has anyone else had experience with one of these, in N or any other scale? Just wondering if any of you have come up with any out-of-the-box or more creative uses.
