The above link shows a video of the additional cars in sets of 2 and 5 that will be available starting in September in Japan for e their 113-2000 Shonan colour of Japan West and Yokosuka 113-1500 colour scheme of Japan West, allowing one to create a complete eleven car train in either colour scheme. In the 2 care add on sets one car is a second powered car. All cars can be lit with the addition of their A009 lighting kit.

Need to correct some of the information I gave and add some . The 4 care set has the extra power care and it comes in a bookcase sleeve, the 2 car set is un-powered and the two cars will fit into the book case sleever for he original 4 car set. There is now a Rapido coupler add on to allow two 11 car trains to be hooked together. The rapido coupler is added to the ca b cars in the original 4 car set.

Is Rokuhan really releasing a Shinkansen this year? N700A?

    Have they released others?

The only Shinkansen released that I know of was put out by Eisen Platz and F-toys, First F-toys put out a static model of O series Shinkansen and Eisen Platz put out the floors for the static models and the power unit for the Shinkansen and you had to purchase the items separately and assemble the cars, in the end F-toys produced complete 6 care Shnikansen in green and a blue series, plus a couple of lead units in Dr Yellow colour as static models, the running gear from Eisen Platz were all released individually, z power chassis and unpowered cab A and Cab B plus an unpowered mid train car floor.

I have seen a few individual cars from other models of the Shinkansen released as static models or in static dioramas, by different toy makers some in metal and some in plastic, but no compete operational trains or sets.

as for Rokuhan producing the N700, I have seen pictures of the N700 on the owner's iPhone or similar device, but have seen nothing on Facebook or on their site to lead me to think there is one close to production, the only thing I can see on their web site is the KIHA183-0 EMU that has not been announced officially yet, and the EF66 which they have officially announced just recently.
