This one's pretty easy, and I think I know the answer but...on the Rokuhan superelevated curve track pieces, are you supposed to just naturally let the adjoining "non super elevated" pieces transition back down to level?

There doesn't seem to be any transition track (like Kato has in N, albeit for a little bit trickier doubletrack situation) so I assume that's the case.

Has anyone used this superelevated track...any issues?

    Doug,
Welcome to Z. You're correct about the transition track, just use a standard section and secure it well on the end away from the superelevated track. Best to use a section >= 110mm. If I can get away with it on the layout, I like using a next size larger curve track into the superelevation, sort of a dirty easement.

Considering all the detail you're wanting for you locomotives, I'm a bit surprised you.re not looking at hand laid track.

    Thanks Mark.

Ha, well I guess you have to pick your battles. I can put that much focus into 5 or 6 locomotives, but 20 or 30 turnouts would push me into the looney bin or at very least the liquor cabinet.
