All Aboard for the Rocky Mountain Train Show - March 3rd and 4th, 2018! Visit the largest model train show west of the Mississippi River at the Denver Mart. Make it a day or a weekend of Family Fun with 2-1/2 acres of model and toy trains of all scales, with 30 operating train layouts. See classic and modern trains from American Flyer, Athearn, Atlas, Bachmann, Blackstone, Broadway Limited, Kato, LGB, Lionel, Marx, MTH, North American Rail Car, Rapido and Walthers. FREE kids activities include Kids Hands-On Layouts, Thomas the Train, Railroad Story Time, Kid-In-A-Cab, Railroad Theater, Train Town and our Build-A-Layout project. Face painting and Lil Engineer portraits are available for additional fare. For adults we have 20 workshops and clinics, and over 600 tables of trains for sale! Attend our new workshop- "Getting Started with Trains", which will walk you through setting up your first train set! Representatives from numerous train manufacturers, including Bachmann, Blackstone, Caboose Kato, Micro-Trains, North American Railcar, Pre-size Model Specialties,Rapido Trains, Sundance Marketing, Trix, TW Trainworx, Weathering Solutions and White River Productions will be on hand to show their newest products. The show features hourly door prizes including train sets! Food is available onsite. Show hours are 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday. If I gotta pay, I don't go! I can't afford that! Think they tried once, and got slammed for it. Could be wrong! Not the first time, certainly not the last! I'm looking forward though, to catch up with a few friends.
Yeah, that didn't go as planned... I actually had to downsize my footprint at the house for a while so the first part of this year will be True Scale Coupler conversions and hopefully some etched stuff. Jason
I should have free access as well. Boulder Model Railroad club or the Rio Grande Historical Society. Might go at least one day. Want to display the DRGW caboose markers. Hope to maybe see a few folks there!
