I am doing research on a child you would have taken the Rock Island from Colroado Springs, CO to Rochester MN in 1920's. Where can I find informtion about what traveling on a train would have been like for him in those days.
My sister and I took the RI and SP from McAlester, OK to Los angeles in 1948, on a pass, so we were in a chair car all the way. I was 13.
