Kurt, I remember the Ritzville depot well, riding the SP&S 700 from Pasco to Spokane a few years ago. We developed some problems climbing (strawberry?) hill and had to stop in Ritzville for servicing. They let all of us off the train and I got a few photos of the servicing. There was a car show going on there, too and quite a few old cars for such a small town. :tb-biggrin:

It's a real pain to get a decent photo of that depot these days. The fence is so tight to the east/front side. Fighting sun at other times. Thankfully I have a good slide of it when it was still an open office years ago.

A neat side trip is into town just a block and two west. Some nice old buildings which should inspire modelers.

Yep, it's a neat little town! The grain reload just north of town is cool too! They were loading a grain train when I was there.
