The Rio Grande PS2 Grainer's from Freudenreich arrived at Rosetown. more Pictures can be found on my website.
Those look nice Jürg, although I couldn't help but notice the FMC builders logo on the car built by Pullman Standard. Keep up the good work.
Hi Bryan, Welcome to Trainboard. I'm happy to see you have an interest in what us Z Scalers are up to! Good catch on that FMC logo.
Holding a Candle to.... The only person in the USA that I know, who can hold a candle close to Jurg's "US" Collection, is Jeffrey White in Atlanta, GA! I have only seen a small part of what Jeffrey has, but I can say that Jurg by far has the most! Jeffrey has to be in the top 5 "US" Collectors. He loves his Z Scale! Although Mr. White is starting to narrow his era of modelling some. Getting more specific to certain areas on the map! UP, D&RGW, SP, SSW, and a few other not-so-typical roadnames! Jurg, your D&RGW Grainers are no brainers when it comes to beauty! Hobo Tim
Guys thank you for the kind words. I will also concentrate my collection to more specific "aeras of the map". UP, D&RGW, SP, SF, BN, BNSF. I will sell almost all my european Rolling Stock (50+ Locomotives and 200+ Cars) and keep only my typical Swiss Locomotives and Cars. My love belongs to the american Railroad! There are some wonderful Locomotives and Rolling Stock coming out in the next couples of month like the GP7/9 from AZL and MTL, the Bethong Coal Porters, the Tri Level Auto Racks, new Cars from MTL, Mark4Design, Freudenreich and more! I'm really lucky that I'm into Z!
