Use google earth or bing maps' images. Start at Ringling, MT and follow the old White Sulfur Springs & Yellowstone Park RR roadbed northeast. You will scan up to find what appears to be two back to back wye tracks where the lines split. My questions 1. The roadbed to the left was obviously the WSS&YP. Was the roadbed branching to the right the Montana RR towards Loweth? 2. Who's wyes were who's? Did they each have one here? Thanks
Coming off the east end of the passing track, there was a lead track to the WSS&YP. I cannot think of how long, it's simply been too many years. On that track, there was a wye, the only one I can think of at present and there was once located a portable stock chute or similar. And I believe that track would have been Milw owned. There was also a stock yard on the Milw house track, further west. Part of that track was probably ex-Jawbone, as the next station was (WSS&YP) Dorsey, and the Montana RR had passed through there. Hence the Milw location slightly east, of New Dorsey. Boxcab E50
Thanks fellas. Right, so looking at the satellite images, which right of way was who's at that junction to the northeast of Ringling? Thanks for the information!
