Having ridden along the main Mombasa-Nairobi Kampala road several years ago, it was potholed and clogged with traffic, so the rejuvenated railway should do well.

Bob, in my post I said potholes - really should have said craters!! Didn't hit anything, but some of the trucks were in a parlous state, collapsed suspension, etc. it was amazing they kept going!
