Rick Corman, owner of R.J. Corman, Passed Away

    Seen elsewhere on the net, and there are links to full stories, R.J. "Rick" Corman passed away today at the age of 58. Rick had been diagnosed with a form of cancer a few years ago. I have seen nothing but good stories about this guy, and it appears railroading has lost a true friend and a nice guy.

    I know first-hand that RJ Corman was a businessman. But more than that, he also was philantrophist(hope I spelled it right). RJ Corman Railroad Company will carry on without him being at the helm. I know they will, the company has been in existence since 1973(40 yrs). They will carry on.

    Rest In Peace Ricky Corman. :(

    A good friend and the first man to hire me for a railroad job. His leadership and drive has helped make me the railroader I am today. He will be missed.... :(
