    Hello,

I'm still kinda new here and with rail images too. I was wondering, is ther a way to resize photos before I post them to a thread or create a new one? When I'm in my album, I see the full and normal tabs I can use to change the size that way but, I was wondering about , example(600x1200), this kinda resizing? Hope that makes sence? In order for me to get any kind of quallity of photos I have to bump up the reso on my camera and when I do, it seems the photos show up huge of the forums. Thanks, for any kind of help you may be able to give me to help me in resizing my photos.

    Sincerly,
    Rick Jenkins

You may want to try a fairly popular program called irfanview. I believe its freeware, and will allow you to both compress JPGs and resize them for posting on the boards

    You can get it here

    irvfanview webpage

or at many of the download sites like Tucows.com

Your camera to computer software program "should" allow you to resize (dpi and physical size)

This likely came on your PC and was the basics and does a nice job of compression too.

It can also be done through Photo Shop Elements.

As a Linux user I'll have to say Gimp. It's also run an Win systems and is a freeware. Lot's of functions.
