Over the last few days I've been looking through the pics & info on this great website: http://www.traintesting.com It's from a guy who worked for British Rail's RTC (Railway Technical Centre) from the 1970's, and he has lots of info and pics on some of the testing that was done. Lots of non-British pics as well, as they trialled BR-built equipment in various parts of the world, or visited other systems to evaluate new technology. There's a few US-relevant images under the Brecknall-Willis pantograph page, and if you like US electrics, check out the Taiwanese version of the E60's! Anyhow, enough of my blathering.... [ 21.
