I also have a basic MRR subscription and I enjoy the videos and other content offered to us, but I don't know if I would fork over extra cash for Video Plus. I know it's narrow minded of me, but I'm already paying for the magazine, I have to pay extra now? I'm probably going to cancel my subscription when it runs out as I'm having problems getting them in the mail (I don't believe it's Kalmbach's fault, more of a postal issue).
It's a marketing gimmick, intended to increase revenues. Failing to maintain or to grow their base, with an attractive enough product, this is the new way. And as we well know, a lot of folks are so easy to lead. (Good fishing techniques.) Just like the TV channels which are constantly splitting their sports broadcasting off to "1" channels. Which if you wish to continue viewing, you must pay extra. It makes no sense to me for the paying advertisers, as they then have a much reduced audience for their products. But I digress....
