Some time ago I was asked for some assistance by the folks at Branchline Trains on a new project. Well, this project has been announced so here it is. They are doing a ACF built REA express car from the late 40's. These cars saw extensive service on the SAL and that other road as well. As a matter of fact the drawings for the model were drawings of the car from that other road. These cars often saw service on secondary trains such as the Palmland on the Seaboard and the Robert E Lee and the Cotton States Special as well. From the modeling standpoint these cars are badly needed and will be a GREAT addition to anyones layout who models the late 40's right up the merger with that other road. Take care guys. ------------------ Denis F. Blake TTHOTS

I have already contacted them about it and they kind of beat around the subject to be honest with you. Anxious to see what happens to be honest with you. Denis
