Thanks, guys! I was lazy and didn't want to swap lenses, but wider than 100mm would have not cut off the other half of the unit. Going vertical saved it.

M337 set out 5 hoppers last night.
The power may have been part of a power swap when L567 had an ex Citirail unit leading last night.

The SD75I’s were split and one led L567 back south to Cedar Rapids.

I thought I saw someone peering into the car in the first photo. This explains everything:

Those are portable car wash brushes, one on each side of the track. Bundled up in their protective covers.

That is actually a vinyl applique made to look like etched glass. Not sure who put it on the divider, the KCS de Mexico when it was in service in the business car fleet south of the boarder or the group that is restoring the car for service at the Austin Steam Train.

Actually I think they are movable car jacks to lift the car. We used plenty of them at the Amtrak facility I worked at in Delaware.

    I agree. They are jacks.

I talked to one of the guys working on that car today. The "etched" window applique was applied a month ago.

He also gave me a link to a page they have set up for the car. Here is the history page on that site.
