    Hello,
I have "Googled" myself gone. I can not find a diagram of a Diesel Locomotive with the parts pointed out. I _think_ I know what dynamic breaks do. I have no clue how to identify one. I expect they look very different on each engine. Can some point me to a resource?

While that is my first request I am sure I'll have more.
Such as what is that "buldge" ususaly on the left side behind the cab?

    Thanks!

Thanks! For the link. Answer to first question is:
On EMDs it is the one or two 36” fans on the top of the long hood. On older GEs like the U25 and U30 it is air grills along the side of the hood. Ever wonder what that “boxy” thing above and just behind the cab on the new models? Yep, you guessed it. That is where the dynamic break cooling equipment is.

The whole site is a gold mine for me!
    Thanks! Again.
