I recently bought a book on the Union Pacific Steam excursion from South Platte Press and found it very informative.

    From their website:
SPP "is a small press devoted to the publication of railroad-related titles, focusing on the railroads of the Midwest and western United States. To date, it has published more than 50 titles, a number of which are now out of print. The company's offices and the publisher's residence are located in David City, Nebraska, on the south side of the Platte River (hence the name)."

Thought other railfans might want to know about this publisher.

    Check out their web site.
