That's the second class train (Clase Economica). No dining car and fewer coaches. Notice the different color scheme from the first class train. Regards Ed
Third shot is one of your best from the trip. Nice. I assume this is still somewhere on the Chepe route? I was surprised at your shot of San Juanito. In the one year between your trip and our trip the station has been repainted (white/green) but totally closed up, with a chain link fence around most of it. That's where we started and finished our trip. Were you guys still on the train at that point, or continuing the trip by bus? Regards Ed
More to come... When we left Copper Canyon we were once again on our tour bus so all four of those last photographs were taken from a moving bus again. I was more than lucky to catch the train as a whole bunch of tress entered into the video lends literally in the next second as I got the video camera recording.
Now you will love this. Below is a video clip of the "Old" Depot / Station in Benson, AZ. What do you think? :cool6xb::cool6xb::cool6xb:
Now, get this; this is the "New" Depot / Station in Benson, AZ!!!!!!! What do you think? YES, I mean that small white "Shack" is the "New" station for Benson!!!!!!!
Tucson, AZ We are sadly getting close to the end of our trip as we pass through Tucson, AZ and I catch a few grab shots out of the bus window. - - -
