New Camera If you have followed my RRAdventures trip reports, you know that Lisa has a very nice digital SLR camera and I have a simple "Kodak DC210 Zoom" camera; but, starting with this report I have upgraded my camera to a "Canon Power Shot A630 8.0MP 4X Digital Camera" so my shots will now be more clear. Not as good as Lisa's but here are some of the first shots taken from my new camera and the CRRM Ghost Train rolls by me... Now Lisa's camera can take photographs much faster than mine so she will catch the entire train as it passes. The first four shots are of GB&L #130, GTL #0574, GTL #4, and Leavenworth Mountain #7. The next four shots are of Saxon Mountain #5, D&RGW #280, D&RGW #284, and GB&L #9228 - - -
Run-By after Run-By Lisa and I both setup at various places around the yard to photograph the train as it went by. I won't post all the images we took (will save those for a private DVD video) but here are a few more angles I think you will enjoy. DGRS - Denver Garden Railway Society (Coming Next!) There were other trains that got into the sprint of Halloween that are of a smaller scale. :tb-wink: :tb-wink: :tb-wink: :tb-wink:
Denver Garden Railway Society Along with the CRRM dressing up their engines for the Halloween, the DGRS did the same. RGS "RICO" B-21 / D&RGW #17 Lisa and I decided at this point to walk around the yard and take a few photographs of selected pieces of equipment. RICO has been going under restoration so we stop here first to see how things are progressing. -
Couple of more pieces of equipment We also took a few more photographs of Narrow Gauge Diesel Engine GB&L #140 that use to operate on the Georgetown Loop and also a few photographs of the D&RGW #60 Baggage & Railway Express Agency Car. The CRRM lot is so full, it pays to take images over again when the cars are moved to another location and you get better angles!
