Has anyone ever heard of this planning service? Back in the 80,s I was modeling HO. I recently found an old drawing of my layout. It was designed by Railplan. The name on it is Murray Bloom from Maryland. I have looked all over the internet for it but cannot find anything, but then it was drawn 30 years ago. Just wondering if anyone ever heard of it. The only possibility coming into mind right now is to look through model railroading magazines from that era. I'm thinking you might have found that person through an ad, or classified listing, possibly in MR or RMC.
Railplan definitely used to advertise in MR. I clearly remember their ads. I once toyed with the idea of using them to design a layout for me, this obviously being before the age of home computers and amazingly accurate track planning programs, but I never got around it.
